College Road Trip is a 2008 film comedy produced by Walt Disney Pictures. The movie stars Raven-Symoné, Martin Lawrence, Brenda Song and Donny Osmond. The movie centers college-bound teen Melanie Porter (Raven Symone), who goes on a road trip to different colleges with her father and college-bound teen Nancy Carter (Brenda Song), who surprises Melanie on her road trip along with her friend, Katie (Margo Harshman). The film was released in the United States on March 7, 2008.The movie stars Raven-Symoné as college-bound teen Melanie Porter, who goes on a road trip to different colleges with her father, a police officer, played by Martin Lawrence, who is afraid of her moving far from home. The film also stars Brenda Song as college-bound teen Nancy, who surprises Melanie on her road trip along with her friend, Katie, played by Margo Harshman. Memorable scenes include her father breaking into a sorority house where she is staying, where he hides and oversleeps, causing them to miss their plane flight; an outdoor wedding reception being destroyed by the family's pet pig; and also a later scene where Mr. Porter and his panicked daughter must parachute from a plane.
